The Ohio Department of Natural Resources calls its spring walleye run one of the largest river migrations of walleye east of the Mississippi. The run usually starts in early March and lasts to the end of April. Wading and casting is the most popular method.

Listed fish are the species named for the river on its Wikipedia page. Check the Ohio Division of Wildlife for river-specific regulations before you fish.
